Mekapati was born on December 31, 1971, in the village of Brahmanapalli in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, and spent his childhood there. He was the son of Mr.Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, the former MP of Nellore Constituency. Because his father was a politician, he was interested in politics since he was a teenager. His father has taught him the skills necessary to become a political leader. He established his desire to become a pastor when he was young while finishing his education at a small school in Nellore. He served successfully in the Legislative Assembly for the Atmakaur seat after being elected in 2014. In 2019, he was re-elected to the same position as a Legislative Assemblymember from the Atmakaur constituency.
From June 8, 2019, he will be the Minister of Industries, Information Technology, and Commerce. Goutham was a member of the YSR Congress party when he began working for the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also remained a member of the Telugu Desam Party. However, his involvement with the Telugu Desam Party remains a mystery to us. He won both elections with the support of the YSR Congress.
Mekapati Goutham Reddy Death
On February 21, 2022, the robust and fit IT minister of Andhra Pradesh died of a heart attack. His death was widely publicized after he breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. He was detained for a cardiac arrest while at home and miraculously transported to Apollo Hospital, where physicians confirmed him dead.
Despite the efforts of a large medical team, they could not rescue the Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and Mr. Goutham died at 50. Doctors declared him unconscious and dead at 9:16 a.m.
