Phil Mickelson was born on June 16, 1970. His full name is Philip Alfred Mickelson. He is from San Diego, California, USA. At present, he is 51 years old and his birth sign is Gemini. There, he won three NCAA individual championships, before turning pro at age 22. Moreover, long known for his inability to win a major despite his elite skills, “Lefty” finally got the monkey off his back with a dramatic victory at the 2004 Masters. And went on to claim 4 more major championships over the following decade.
Further, he has won 45 events on the PGA Tour. And, that includes six major championships: three Masters titles (2004, 2006, 2010), two PGA Championships (2005, 2021), and one Open Championship (2013). Likewise, with his win at the 2021 PGA Championship, he became the oldest major championship winner in history at the age of 51 years.
